Delhi Pollution Control Committee to Fill Key Positions
The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), a vital body under the Department of Environment, Government of NCT of Delhi, has announced a recruitment drive for 14 tentative Group ‘A’ posts on a regular basis. This recruitment drive aims to bolster the committee’s capacity to manage and regulate environmental issues within the national capital.
Vacancy Details and Pay Scales
The vacancies are available across various technical and administrative roles. The breakdown of the posts, their respective pay levels (based on the 7th CPC), and the number of vacancies are as follows:
Technical and Scientific Roles
- Senior Environmental Engineer (SEE): There are 5 vacancies for this senior role, with successful candidates placed at Pay Level-12. The vacancies are distributed among different categories: one (1) for the Other Backward Classes (OBC) and four (4) for the Unreserved (UR) category.
- Environmental Engineer (EE): Five (5) positions are available for Environmental Engineers at Pay Level-11. Similar to the SEE posts, these are also divided into one (1) OBC and four (4) UR vacancies.
- Scientist-C: A single vacancy is open for a Scientist-C, which falls under Pay Level-11. This post is designated for the Unreserved (UR) category.
- Scientist-B: Two (2) posts for Scientist-B are being recruited. These positions are at Pay Level-10 and are both for the Unreserved (UR) category.
Administrative and IT Roles
- Programmer: One (1) position for a Programmer is available at Pay Level-10. This post is for the Unreserved (UR) category.
The total number of posts to be filled is 14, with two (2) reserved for OBC candidates and twelve (12) for the UR category.

Prospective candidates must download the application form from the official DPCC website, www.dpcc.delhigovt.nic.in, under the “Office Order & Circulars” section. The application, along with all the required supporting documents, must be submitted in a physical format.1
Applicants must dispatch their completed applications to the Administrative Officer, DPCC, 3rd Floor, Block-I, DMRC IT Park Building, Shastri Park, Delhi-110053.
The deadline for submission is within 21 days from the date of the advertisement’s publication. Candidates are also advised to regularly check the official DPCC website for any corrigendum or official updates regarding the recruitment process.
