UKMSSB Releases List of Ineligible Candidates for Faculty Positions, Appeal Now !

DEHRADUN, UTTARAKHAND — In a significant development, the Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) has released a list of candidates deemed ineligible for the Assistant Professor Examination-2025. The announcement, dated September 3, 2025, follows a thorough scrutiny of online applications submitted for the 439 vacant positions in State Medical Colleges across Uttarakhand.

Scrutiny Reveals Discrepancies

According to the official notification No. 29/2025, the Board conducted a meticulous review of all online applications received in response to the advertisement issued on February 19, 2025. The scrutiny revealed that several applicants did not meet the required qualifications or possess the necessary documents as stipulated in the original advertisement.

“A number of candidates were declared ineligible because they did not have the full qualifications published in the advertisement or did not submit the desired certificates,” stated UKMSSB Secretary Pradeep Joshi.

Opportunity for Appeal

To ensure a fair and transparent process, the UKMSSB is offering an opportunity for the affected candidates to appeal the decision. The list of ineligible candidates, along with the specific reasons for their ineligibility, has been published on the official UKMSSB website, www.ukmssb.org, as of September 3, 2025.1

Candidates who wish to challenge their ineligibility must submit a representation in the prescribed format provided by the Board. This representation, along with supporting documents and a clear explanation of their situation, must be sent to the Board’s official email ID, ukmssbexam@gmail.com.

Deadline for Submission

The deadline for submitting the appeal is September 13, 2025. Submissions received after this date, or through any other medium, will not be considered under any circumstances.

This measure is part of the UKMSSB’s commitment to filling the Assistant Professor positions with the most qualified candidates, ensuring the highest standards of medical education in the state’s medical colleges.
