Stipend & Benefits Details

  • Monthly Stipend: ₹8,050/- per month for 2-year ITI course holders
  • Monthly Stipend: ₹7,700/- per month for 1-year ITI course holders
  • Training Duration: 1 year as per Apprentices Act 1961
  • Additional Benefits: Industrial training, skill development, experience certificate
  • Career Prospects: Preference in railway recruitment after completion
  • Certification: Government recognized apprenticeship completion certificate

Exam Difficulty & Competition Analysis

  • Difficulty Level: Moderate – Merit-based selection without written exam
  • Expected Applications: 80,000-1,20,000 candidates for 933 posts
  • Competition Ratio: Approximately 1:100 to 1:130 (High Competition)
  • Selection Criteria: Based on average of 10th and ITI marks (Merit List)
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: Generally 70-80% combined average for selection
  • Success Rate: Approximately 0.8-1.2% selection rate – Focus on securing high marks in 10th & ITI
