We are looking for a passionate and dynamic TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) English Teacher to join our team in Jabalpur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English education to students, fostering a love for literature, language, and communication skills, and helping students excel academically.
Key Responsibilities:Curriculum Delivery & Instruction:Teach English to students in the middle and high school grades (Classes 6 to 10).
Follow the prescribed curriculum, ensuring lessons are engaging, comprehensive, and meet the educational standards.
Develop and implement lesson plans that address different learning styles and cater to the individual needs of students.
Integrate various teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, multimedia, and hands-on activities, to make lessons dynamic and interesting.
Student Development & Support:Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Conduct regular class assessments (both written and oral) and exams.
Offer support to struggling students, using differentiated teaching strategies to ensure their success.
Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and creativity.
Classroom Management:Maintain discipline in the classroom, creating a positive and respectful learning environment.
Encourage active student engagement through discussions, debates, and activities that promote English language use.
Manage student behavior, ensuring a conducive atmosphere for learning and growth.
Co-curricular Activities:Encourage student involvement in co-curricular activities such as debates, drama, poetry recitations, and English language competitions.
Promote a culture of reading by recommending books and organizing literary events.
Parent & Teacher Communication:Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and progress.
Organize parent-teacher meetings to discuss academic development and address any concerns.
Professional Development:Keep abreast of new teaching methodologies, educational tools, and trends in English education.
Participate in workshops, training programs, and seminars to improve teaching skills.
Requirements
Education & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification is a must.
Prior experience teaching English at the middle or high school level is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:Strong command of the English language (both written and spoken).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and inspire students through creative lesson planning and interactive teaching techniques.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
