Junior Translation Officer (JTO) in Armed Forces Headquarters (AFHQ) 18 Posts
  • Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university
  • Hindi as compulsory or elective subject at degree level OR
  • Higher Secondary with Hindi as one of the subjects and recognized diploma/certificate in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa
Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) 198 Posts

Salary & Pay Scale Details

  • Junior Translation Officer (JTO): Level 6 – ₹35,400 – 1,12,400/- (7th Pay Commission)
  • Junior Hindi Translator (JHT): Level 6 – ₹35,400 – 1,12,400/- (7th Pay Commission)
  • Senior Hindi Translator (SHT): Level 7 – ₹44,900 – 1,42,400/- (7th Pay Commission)
  • In-Hand Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month (including allowances)
  • Additional Benefits: DA (12%), HRA (8-24%), Transport Allowance, Medical, Pension
