The Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), a grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has announced a walk-in interview for the position of Research Assistant on an SHI basis. Candidate Requirements
Educational and Professional Qualifications
Candidates must hold an M.Tech or M.Sc. in Life Science or an equivalent qualification. A minimum of six months of experience in molecular techniques is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with skills in molecular biology, NGS workflows, molecular genetics, hematology, and experimental design. The successful candidate must be prepared to work as part of a large team.
Job Profile
The responsibilities for this role include performing wet lab experiments, tracking patient records, and assisting with the analysis of cutting-edge genomics data. The position has a duration of six months, with the possibility of an extension. The consolidated monthly salary for this role is Rs. 23,000.
Interview Details
The walk-in interview is scheduled for Friday, September 12, 2025. Eligible candidates should report to the 3rd Floor, Meeting Room – II, Khanolkar Shodhika, ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai – 410210. The reporting time is from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.1

- A recent CV and passport-sized photograph.
- Original and xerox copies of all certificates for educational qualifications, work experience, and an Aadhaar Card for ID proof.
