The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Deoghar, is inviting applications for walk-in interviews for the engagement of Guest Faculty in the College of Nursing. - Total Hours: 15 hours for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing and 100 hours (50 Theory + 50 Practical) for M.Sc. Nursing
- Remuneration: Rs 1000/- per class per hour. Maximum 15 hours (Theory) for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing and Maximum 50 hours (Theory) and 50 hours (Practical) for M.Sc. Nursing during the Academic Session.

- Total Hours: 50 hours for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing
- Remuneration: Rs 1000/- per class per hour. Maximum 50 hours during the Academic Session.

- Total Hours: 50 hours for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing

Important Notes on Vacancies
- The number of vacancies is provisional and subject to variation.
- The Executive Director, AIIMS Deoghar, reserves the right to vary vacancies, including reserved ones, as per Government of India rules and requirements.
- The number of posts may be increased or decreased at the time of final selection.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
The upper age limit for eligibility is 50 years as of August 23, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for Government servants, SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per Government decisions.
Educational Qualifications
- Guest Faculty (Statistics)
- Essential: A postgraduate degree in English literature from a recognized university/institute with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Desirable: Ph.D. in the respective discipline.
- Guest Faculty (Psychology)
- Essential: A postgraduate degree in Computer Science from a recognized university/institute with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Desirable: Ph.D. in the respective discipline.
- Guest Faculty (Sociology)
- Essential: A postgraduate degree in Computer Science from a recognized university/institute with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Desirable: Ph.D. in the respective discipline.
Experience
The period of experience will be counted after obtaining the prescribed qualification.

Application Procedure
- Download Application Form: Applicants must download the prescribed application form from the AIIMS Deoghar website: www.aiimsdeoghar.edu.in.
- Submission by Email: Send the duly filled application form along with all supporting documents/certificates to the email ID: conur@aiimsdeoghar.edu.in. The last date for email submission is August 23, 2025.
- Submission of Hard Copy: The hard copy of the application and supporting documents must reach the following address within 10 days of the last date for email submission (i.e., by September 3, 2025):”Principal, College of Nursing, Academic Block, 3rd Floor of AIIMS, Deoghar, Pin – 814152″.
- Annexures: Attested photocopies of degrees, certificates, mark sheets, age proof, caste certificates, etc., must be annexed to the hard copy. Originals and photocopies should be brought for verification at the time of the walk-in interview.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC): Candidates currently working in Central/State Government/Semi Government Autonomous bodies must submit a “No Objection Certificate” from their respective organization along with their application.
Application Fee
Payment must be made through Demand Draft only, in favor of “AIIMS Deoghar” payable at Deoghar. Fees are non-refundable.

An interview call letter will be issued via email. Candidates are advised to regularly check their email for updates.

Document Verification & Interview Schedule
The date and time for document verification and interview will be informed through the call letter.
Important Notes on Interview
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview and document verification.
- Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
- The decision of the competent authority regarding selection is final.

Terms and Conditions
Contractual Engagement
The engagement is purely on a contractual basis for eleven months or until a regular appointment is made, whichever is earlier. It is not linked to regular appointment and cannot be regularized at any stage.
Termination of Contract
The appointment can be terminated by either side with one month’s notice or by paying one month’s salary.
Conduct and Discipline
Appointees will be full-time at AIIMS and cannot accept other assignments or engage in private practice. They are expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline applicable to institute employees.
Benefits
Appointees are not entitled to benefits like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion, or any other benefits available to regular Government servants. No extra/additional allowances will be admissible for assigned duties.
Disqualification
- Mere possession of minimum qualifications does not guarantee selection.
- Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
- False information or suppression of material information will lead to removal from service and other actions.
- Candidates should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
