Job Profile
The internship program offers hands-on experience in various fields of Forensic Science, including forensic Biology, Ballistics, Chemistry, Cyber Forensic, Fingerprint Analysis, DNA analysis, and Crime Scene Investigation. Interns may be posted at different FSL divisions or on Mobile Forensic Vans and are required to work in shifts, 24/7.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have an M.Sc. degree from a recognized University or affiliated College/Delhi Govt. Universities/Central Universities located in Delhi. Specific qualifications for each division are as follows:
- Chemistry: Master’s degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Biochemistry, or Forensic Science with Chemistry as a subject during all three years of B.Sc..
- Biology: Master’s degree in Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Anthropology, Biology, Human Biology, Life Science, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or Forensic Science with Zoology/Botany as a subject during all three years of B.Sc..
- Ballistics: Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics as a subject during all three years of B.Sc..
- Cyber Forensic: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Application, Information Technology, Physics with specialization in Electronics, or Cyber Security.
- Physics (A/V): Master’s degree in Physics or Forensic Science with Physics as a subject studied for at least two years/four semesters at the B.Sc. level.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 21 and 27 years of age as of September 8, 2025. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories: 3 years for OBC, and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
