Punjab Haryana Court Stenographer Recruitment 2025: The High Court of Punjab and Haryana has released the Answer Key for the recruitment of Stenographer Grade-III in the Subordinate Courts of Punjab. The Society for Centralized Recruitment of Staff in Subordinate Courts (S.S.S.C.) is conducting this recruitment drive for 478 vacancies.
The online application process starts on 26 March 2025, and the last date to apply is 23 April 2025. Candidates will be selected through a Computer-Based Test (CBT), English Shorthand & Transcription Test, and a Spreadsheet Test.

As of 1 January 2025, candidates must be:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 37 years (General Category)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/BC/OBC (Punjab) – 5 years (42 years max)
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities – 10 years (47 years max)
- Ex-Servicemen – Number of years in military service + 3 years
- Government Employees (Punjab/Haryana/UT Chandigarh) – Up to 45 years

The selection process consists of three stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – 60 Marks
- Subjects:
- General Knowledge
- English Composition
- Number of Questions: 60
- Total Marks: 60
- Duration: 1 Hour
- Negative Marking: No
- Subjects:
- English Shorthand & Transcription Test
- Dictation at 80 words per minute (wpm)
- Transcription speed of 20 wpm on a computer
- More than 8% mistakes will lead to disqualification
- Spreadsheet Test
- Duration: 10 minutes
- Total Marks: 10
- Qualifying Marks: 40% (4 marks minimum required)
📌 Note: Only candidates who pass the Spreadsheet Test will have their Stenography Test evaluated.
