Qualifications and Experience (Highlights)

Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)
  • Essential: Post-graduate degree (Second Class/55% marks) in any discipline, preferably with a post-graduate diploma in management or Engineering graduates with a post-graduate diploma in management. Excellent oral and written English communication, proficient in man-management and interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in computer operations (MS Windows & MS Office) and Internet.
  • Experience: 15 years post-qualification experience in heading administration of a government department or reputed Management Education Institute/University/College/Commercial organization, with at least 10 years at Senior Administrative Officer level. Experience in IIMs, IIT, IISER preferred.
Project Engineer cum Estate Officer
  • Qualification: B.E/B. Tech in Civil/Electrical Engineering with 60% marks and consistently good academic record.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years in handling construction projects post-qualification, preferably from Government of India departments, undertakings, and authorities. Desirable: Estate and Maintenance Management and computer knowledge.
Chief Program Officer (Academics)
  • Essential: Post-Graduate degree (Second Class/55% marks) in any discipline OR MBA (60% marks) from a reputed University/Institute with consistently good academic record. Proficiency in Excel, Data Management, MS Windows & MS Office.
  • Desirable: Knowledge/experience with Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Experience: At least 15 years post-qualification in academic administration activities, with 5 years independently handling these functions in a reputed Academic Institution/University. Minimum 3 years experience at Level 10. Experience in IIMs, IIT, IISER preferred.
Deputy System Manager
  • Essential: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/Electrical/Communication Engineering with specialization in Computers/MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT with at least 60% marks and consistently good academic record.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience in managerial level (at least 2 years in Level 7-8/Equivalent) in Large Scale Networking and Security Services Management, hardware, software, Internet, e-mail systems, website, video conference, web conference, ERP, and related services. Ability to handle network equipment on CLI mode is essential. Experience in IIMs, IIT, IISER preferred. Network Certifications like CCNA, WCNA, CompTIA are an added advantage.
Administrative Officer (UR)
  • Essential: Post-Graduate degree (minimum 55% marks) in any discipline from a reputed University/Institute or equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
  • Desirable: Post-Graduate in Management (PGDM/MBA) with minimum 60% marks. Proficiency in computer operations like Excel, Data Management, MS Windows & MS Office.

International Relations Officer

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience (at least 2 years in Level 7-8/Equivalent) with 4-5 years in handling International Relations functions in Higher Education Institutions. Compliance Officer (Accounts and Audit)
  • Essential: Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant and a member of ‘Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’. Good working knowledge of Computer applications and accounting software.
  • Desirable: Certifications like Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certificate course on Internal Audit by ICAI.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience (at least 2 years in Level 8/equivalent) in industry/Govt./Public Sector undertaking. Experience of Internal Audit in educational institutions of national importance like IIM, IIT, IISER preferred.
Administrative Officer (EWS)

  • Experience: Chartered Accountant/Cost Accountant with minimum 4 years’ relevant experience or M. Com with minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Central/State Government Departments/Academic/Research Institutions/other reputed institutes/Industry. Worked at least for two years at level 5-6/Equivalent. Experience in dealing with Central Government rules relating to Accounts/Audit/Budget, thorough knowledge of GFR 2017, FR & SR and relevant Central Government rules & procedures. Knowledge of computer operations and computerized accounting system is essential. Knowledge of GST/TDS tax compliances, filing of TDS/GST returns is a must.
Assistant Admission Officer
  • Essential: MBA in any discipline or equivalent with at least second class (55% marks) from a recognized reputed University or Institute.
  • Desirable: Specialization in International Relations/Strategy & International Business, Proficiency in computer operations, Internet Knowledge/experience of working with ERP/LMS.
  • Experience: At least 7 years post-qualification experience in Administration, with 4 years independently handling departmental functions in industry/Govt./Public Sector undertaking (at least for two years at level 5/Equivalent). Graphic Designer
  • Qualification: Graduation in any stream/Graphic Design/Animation/Fine Arts from a recognized University or 3-year Diploma courses in Designing from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in Graphic Designing (at least 2 years at Level 2-4/Equivalent) using Corel Draw, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects). Experience with other creative software, drawing/illustration skills, photography, motion-graphics skills would be an extra plus. Experience in IIMs, IIT, IISER preferred. Candidates should share minimum 5 design portfolios with their application.
Junior Engineer (Civil)
  • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with 60% marks or equivalent grade and consistently good academic record with 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Desirable: Certification in Project Management and CAD.
  • Experience: 5 years post-qualification experience in Civil Projects and construction with Government/Industry Experience in reputed organization/Govt. department/PSU preferred.
Junior System Manager
  • Essential: B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science / IT / Electronics / Electrical / Communication Engineering with specialization in Computers / MCA / M. Sc. in Computer Science / IT with at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience of post-qualification in maintaining and supporting networks, hardware, software, Internet, e-mail systems, website and related services( at least 2 years at 2-4 / Equivalent)
Executive – Accounts
  • Essential : Post-graduate degree in Commerce / MBA (Finance) (10+2+3+2) with minimum 55% Marks.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in computer operations (MS Windows & MS Office), Internet, Knowledge / experience of working with LMS will be an added advantage. Applicants having experience in running finance and accounts offices of large educational institutions will have an advantage. Sound practical exposure to advanced computer applications in the management of finance and accounts is desirable. Should be proficient in accounting management software such as Tally/ERP.
  • Experience:Minimum 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience. Candidate should be familiar with computerized accounting environment such as Tally/ERP etc. Experience in institutes of repute like IIMs, IIT, IISER etc. will be preferred. Experience in working in finance and accounts functions in a reputable organization/PSU/Govt. department and knowledge of General Finance Rules are essential..( at least for two years at level 2-4 / Equivalent).
Medical Officer
  • Qualification: M.B.B.S. with at least 60% marks including completion of compulsory rotatory internship from Indian University/Institutes. Registered with Indian/State Doctors Bodies.
  • Desirable: M.D. or equivalent PG Medical qualifications in any branch of Medicine with at least 60% marks with experience post-PG.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years experience at a reputed hospital – Government/Public.

Selection Process

  • For Level 10 & above posts: Selection will be based on personal interviews.
  • For Level 8 posts: Selection will be based on marks obtained in a prescribed Written Test, Skilled test, followed by an Interview.
  • For Level 6 and below posts: Selection will be based on marks obtained in the prescribed qualification, Written Test, Skill Test, and Interview (if considered necessary, specifically for Graphic Designer position).

Job Profiles (Summary)

  • Chief Administrative Officer (CAO): Provide overall administrative support, lead a team, coordinate academic and administrative activities (personnel, general administration, estate management, engineering, construction, stores & purchase, contract services), conduct Board and Society meetings, knowledgeable in GeM portal, GFR 2017, FR&SR, Central Government rules, and act as First Appellate Authority under RTI Act, 2005.
  • Project Engineer cum Estate Officer: Handle campus construction projects (planning, execution of civil, electrical, communication engineering, designing, estimation, contract management, construction management), prepare estimates and tender documents, supervise work, ensure project completion within scope, time, cost, and quality, coordinate with architects and statutory authorities, check work quantities and protect IIM interests, submit budgets and accounts, maintain work records, submit progress reports, track project performance, adept in eco-friendly projects, solar energy utilization, and landscaping, organize meetings related to construction, maintain project records, and handle estate-related aspects.

  • Assistant Admission Officer: Process applications for Doctoral, Postgraduate, Undergraduate programs, conduct Common Admission Test (CAT) in coordination with other IIMs, process test results, prepare shortlists for GD and interviews, interview scores, final list of selected candidates, and correspond with selected candidates including offer of admission letters.

  • Junior System Manager: To manage the IT infrastructure, Enterprise Data Centre Technologies of the Institute including the hostel. The IT infrastructure will include Large Scale Networking and Security Services Management, Database and Repository Management System, Server Cloud computing, Audio, Video and Learning Management Systems and related services.
  • Executive – Accounts:
    • Preparation of asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information
    • Accountable for various financial functions such as Maintenance of accounts, processing of bills, budgeting, investments and audit coordination etc.
    • Independently manage the Finance and Accounts Office.
    • Responsible for maintenance of accounts, disbursement, investment, statutory auditing, Handling CAG audit preparing budget estimates, and tax and other statutory requirements.
