Hello my dear friends,
I am going to say a few words about Indian Independence Day. Today, on 15th August, we are celebrating the 79th Indian Independence Day. Friends, our country India is a country of unity in diversity. More than 121 languages are spoken in different states. There are 270 mother tongues. Different states have different cultures. Despite all this, our country India is one. The citizen of every state of the country celebrates Independence Day on 15th August as a national festival with great pride. Independence Day gives the message of unity in diversity in our country. Long ago, India was under British rule. To liberate the country, children like us, grandparents, elders all fought together against the British. Today we know it as the freedom struggle.
This day also reminds us that our country did not get independence so easily. Hundreds of great freedom fighters including Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Lala Lajpat Rai, Ramprasad Bismil sacrificed everything to liberate this country, today is also the day to remember the sacrifices of these freedom fighters and pay tribute to them. Let us pledge to make our country proud and become good, hardworking citizens.

Good morning to all the people present here,
First of all, I wish you all a very Happy Independence Day. Because today we are going to celebrate the 79th Independence Day with a free morning and we have got this freedom after facing many hardships and making many sacrifices, to liberate this country, hundreds of great freedom fighters including Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Lala Lajpat Rai, Ramprasad Bismil had sacrificed everything, today is also the day to remember the sacrifice of these freedom fighters and pay tribute to them. On this day the British Empire collapsed in our country. And on August 15, 1947, our country became free forever. 15 August, i.e. the day of independence, is considered a very proud and fortunate day for India. Because this day awakens a new feeling of hope, enthusiasm and patriotism in our hearts and this day also reminds us how many troubles we faced for this day. If we have to sacrifice our lives to get this freedom and protect Mother India, we will do it happily, that is why we celebrate Independence Day with great enthusiasm all over India. Today I am going to put some of my thoughts on Independence Day in front of you. Let’s start with a few lines –
When the eyes open, the land belongs to India.
When the eyes close, the memories belong to India,
Even if we die, there is no sorrow.
At the time of death, the soil should belong to Hindustan.
On 15 August 1947, such a revolution was successful on the land of Mother India, whose echo was heard all over the world and on this day, the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru celebrated the first Independence Day by hoisting the flag at the Red Fort, and this is one of the reasons why the first Independence Day of the country is celebrated every year. Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji hoists the Indian flag at the Red Fort. And we also celebrate this national festival by hoisting the flag on Independence Day, singing the national anthem and paying tribute to all the freedom fighters.
Today, on the occasion of the 79th year of India’s Independence Day, I consider myself very lucky to be present among all of you and the biggest reason for being lucky is that I was born in independent India, because when India was a slave. Then there were a lot of atrocities on the British and our ancestors. Today is a very special day for all of us. Because on this day our whole country India got independence. This is the most important day for every Indian citizen because on this day the freedom fighters of the country sacrificed their lives and this day reminds us of the sacrifices made by them. With this I end my words. Come, let us pledge to make our country proud and become good, hardworking citizens.
