Online Applications Open for Multiple Engineering Disciplines
CHANDIGARH – The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh, has released an official advertisement notice inviting online applications for the recruitment of Assistant Professors. These Group-A posts are for multiple engineering departments and fall under the Level-10 pay scale of the 7th Central Pay Commission, with a salary range of Rs. 57,700 to Rs. 98,200. The Institute, deemed a University under the ‘Distinct Category’ by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is seeking qualified candidates to fill these positions.
Vacancy Details and Departments
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of four positions across three different engineering disciplines. The distribution of vacancies is as follows:
- Computer Science and Engineering: One post is available, designated for the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category. This is a backlog vacancy.
- Electrical Engineering: Two posts are open, one for the Other Backward Classes (OBC) and one for the Unreserved (UR) category.
- Electronics and Communication Engineering: One post is available for the Unreserved (UR) category.

Aspiring candidates must submit their applications online through the official NITTTR website, https://www.nitttrchd.ac.in. The online application portal will become active on 9th September, 2025, after 02:00 P.M.
