SCI Assistant Manager And Executive Recruitment 2025 – Selection Process
The selection process for Assistant Manager (E2) and Executive (E0) posts will be conducted in three stages.
Stage I: Online Exam (OE)
- The online examination will be held in 6 cities: Mumbai (including Thane & Navi Mumbai), Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR, Bengaluru, and Guwahati.
- Candidates must select 3 exam centres in preferential order. Centres will be allotted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- Candidates can appear in the exam based on the information submitted in the application form. Final verification will be done later before Stage II.
- Exam can be taken in English or Hindi (except the English section).
- PwBD candidates will be provided necessary assistance at the exam centres.

Stage II: Group Discussion (GD)
- After the Online Exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage in a 1:6 ratio.
- Document Verification will be conducted before Group Discussion and Personal Interview. At this stage, all necessary documents such as educational qualification, caste certificate, PwBD certificate, EWS certificate, and date of birth proof will be checked.
- The Group Discussion will be eliminatory in nature. Only those securing 60% marks or above will qualify for the Personal Interview round.
Stage III: Personal Interview (PI)
- The overall selection weightage will be: Online Exam – 70%, Group Discussion – 10%, and Personal Interview – 20%.
- Only candidates shortlisted from the Group Discussion stage will be called for the Personal Interview.
- The Personal Interview will follow an elimination process; candidates must score 70% or above to be shortlisted.
- In the event of a tie in the final scores, the following criteria will be applied sequentially to determine the merit position:
a. Candidate with higher marks in the Online Exam.
b. Candidate’s date of birth, with the older candidate placed higher in the merit list.
