Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) English Teacher to join our team at a reputed IB school in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about teaching English, eager to inspire young minds, and committed to enhancing the academic experience of students in grades 5-10.
Key Responsibilities
Lesson Planning & Delivery: Develop and deliver engaging, effective lessons in English, including language skills and literature, aligned with the IB curriculum for grades 5-10.
Student Engagement: Encourage critical thinking, creative expression, and active participation in class through discussions, group work, and other interactive methods.
Assessments & Feedback: Regularly assess students’ progress through tests, assignments, and projects. Provide constructive feedback to help students enhance their English proficiency.
Classroom Management: Create a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning, where students feel valued and motivated.
Collaboration: Work closely with fellow teachers and school staff to contribute to a holistic learning environment and align on school-wide academic goals.
Extracurricular Involvement: Actively participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community engagement programs to support students beyond the classroom.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field. A B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) degree is mandatory.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience as an English teacher for grades 5-10, preferably in a IB school.
Skills:Strong command over the English language and literature.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to create an engaging classroom environment and manage student behavior.
Proficiency in using modern teaching methods and integrating technology into lessons.
Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
