
A walk-in interview is scheduled for Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Ordnance Factory Hospital in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, to hire a Hired Medical Practitioner (HMP) on a contractual basis. The position is open for a single vacancy.
About the Position
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing normal medical tasks and attending to emergencies and disaster-related duties. Night shifts will be part of a rotational duty schedule, which will also include working on Sundays and holidays.
Eligibility and Application Requirements
Applicants must be Indian nationals with an MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The maximum age for applicants is 69 years.
Required Documents
Candidates must bring the following original and a copy of the following documents to the interview:
- Original MBBS degree and mark sheets.
- Medical Council and Medical Registration Certificates.
- Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, and other relevant documents.
- Three recent passport-size photographs.
Contract and Compensation
The contract is for a duration of six months and is purely temporary. It is subject to termination with a seven-day notice period from either side.
The consolidated monthly honorarium is ₹75,000, with deductions for Income Tax at the source as per the rules. There will be a daily rate reduction of ₹2,500 from the remuneration for any absence.
